Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited content

• Nudity, partial nudity, and sexually explicit or suggestive content.
• Sexual services, solicitation, prostitution, escort advertising, or any commercial sexual activity.
• Any content involving minors, and any sexualisation or exploitation of a minor. Accounts are permanently removed and reports are escalated.
• Violent, graphic, or gratuitously shocking material, and content promoting self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
• Hateful content targeting people by race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Illegal content, including drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit items and pirated material.

Prohibited conduct

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, bullying or sexual pressure.
• Scams, fraud, phishing, money requests, investment or crypto pitches, and any attempt to obtain money or financial details from another user.
• Impersonating another person, brand or Shedo Chat staff, or misrepresenting your identity in order to deceive someone.
• Recording, screenshotting, streaming or redistributing another user without their consent.
• Sharing another person's private information, including addresses, phone numbers and documents, without their consent.
• Spam, advertising, mass promotion, link dropping and repetitive unsolicited messages.
• Bots, automation, scripted matching, scraping, pre-recorded or fake video, and any attempt to bypass matching, moderation, bans or subscription controls.
• Interfering with the service, including attacks on our systems, reverse engineering, or abusing reporting tools with false reports.

Strictly prohibited

The following are prohibited everywhere on Shedo Chat — video, messages, groups, Memories and Rooms:

• Human trafficking and sex trafficking
• Sexual exploitation, or facilitating, encouraging, aiding or abetting abuse or exploitation
• Sexual violence and sexual assault
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including revenge pornography or intimate images shared without consent
• Illegal sexual services and the solicitation of illegal sexual services
• Nudity, sexually explicit content and sexual solicitation
• Harassment, sexual harassment, threats, stalking and coercion
• Exploitation of minors, or any sexual content involving minors
• Scams, fraud and financial exploitation
• Sharing another person's sensitive personal information without consent
• Recording, screenshotting or redistributing other users without their consent
• Hate-based abuse, impersonation, spam, bots and automated activity
• Any other illegal activity

Violations can end a session immediately and lead to suspension or a permanent ban. Where required, we report to law enforcement.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Shedo Chat. A date of birth is required at sign-up; it is self-reported and not independently verified. Accounts that appear to belong to a minor are removed.

Enforcement

Every user can report or block another user from inside a conversation. Depending on severity and history, we may warn, end a session, restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently terminate it. Serious violations result in immediate permanent removal without warning. Accounts terminated for policy violations are not refunded, except where required by law — see our refund policy.
