Looking for a Shagle alternative? Face effects and masks.
People comparing Shagle alternatives often want the visual layer: masks, filters and effects. Shedo Chat has a real-time face effect system with a wide regular set, plus a locked Elite tier. Shedo Chat is an independent random video chat platform. It has no affiliation, partnership or endorsement relationship with Shagle, and Shagle is a trademark of its respective owner, referenced here only so you can compare.
Effects that follow your face
Effects are tracked in real time against your face rather than pasted over a fixed point, so they stay in place as you move and turn.
What is in the regular set
Animal looks, cartoon styles, accessories, sparkle and heart effects, seasonal looks, plus beauty and lighting adjustments.
- Dog, cat, bunny, bear and fox looks
- Crowns, sunglasses, hearts and sparkles
- Beauty, studio lighting and playful distortion effects
Choose before you match
The effects picker is available before a call starts as well as during one, so you can preview a look on your own camera first. Your choice becomes your default and survives a reload.
Elite effects, honestly labelled
A small set of Elite effects, including a Shedo signature look, is visible but locked. They are not purchasable yet and nothing is charged for them today.
Effects and privacy are separate
Blur is its own control. You can use an effect, blur, both, or neither, and switch any of them mid-call without dropping the connection.
