Location & VPN handling
Country matching uses several signals together — IP geolocation, network and ASN reputation, known VPN/proxy/Tor ranges, and timezone and language consistency. No system detects every VPN, so we score each connection instead of claiming certainty. Connections we can't place confidently are labelled uncertain and are excluded from country-filtered matching rather than being silently trusted.
Reporting and enforcement
Reports create a moderation record tied to the session. Serious categories can disconnect a session automatically and restrict the account pending review. Blocking a person prevents you from ever being matched with them again.
