Looking for a Chatspin alternative? Here's what Shedo Chat offers.
Shedo Chat is an independent random video chat platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Chatspin in any way — this page simply explains what Shedo Chat does, so you can judge whether it suits how you like to chat.
The same basic idea
Like other random video chat services, Shedo Chat pairs you one-on-one with another person over live video, and lets you skip to the next person whenever you want. If that loop is what you are looking for, you will feel at home quickly.
Free to start, no signup
Random matching, skipping, in-call text chat, camera blur and face effects cost nothing and need no account. Signing up is optional and adds messaging, Rooms and saved settings.
Face effects that track you
Shedo Chat includes a real-time face effect system with a wide set of masks and looks — animals, cartoon styles, accessories, beauty and lighting effects — that follow your face as you move. Your chosen effect is saved as your default for future calls.
Camera blur as a first-class control
Blur applies a strong real-time blur to your own feed while keeping the call connected and your video live. It is a middle ground between full camera and camera off.
Audio Rooms alongside video
Beyond one-on-one video, Shedo Chat has live audio Rooms with a host, speakers and listeners — a group format that most random video chat sites do not include.
Premium is optional
Premium adds matching preferences such as country and unlimited plays in the in-call games. Everything needed for ordinary video chat remains free.
