Looking for a Camloo alternative? Starting in seconds.
If you want a Camloo alternative that does not stand between you and the first conversation, this page covers exactly what happens between opening Shedo Chat and being in a call. Shedo Chat is an independent random video chat platform. It has no affiliation, partnership or endorsement relationship with Camloo, and Camloo is a trademark of its respective owner, referenced here only so you can compare.
Step by step, from cold start
Open the site, allow camera and microphone in the browser prompt, press Start Video Chat, and the queue begins. There is no email, no verification email and no payment step.
Why the first call is usually quick
Connection setup begins as the page loads rather than waiting for the match, so the handshake is largely finished by the time a partner is found.
What an account adds later
Signing up is optional and adds private messaging, Rooms, saved interests and Premium. Nothing you did before signing up is lost.
Permissions, explained
Camera and microphone access is asked for by your browser, not by us, and can be revoked at any time in browser settings. Denying the microphone still allows a video-only session.
Leaving is as fast as arriving
Skip moves you on immediately and stop ends the session and releases the camera.
