Looking for a Azar alternative? Talking across countries.
Azar alternatives are often searched by people who specifically want conversations with someone in another country. This page covers how that works on Shedo Chat, and where the limits are. Shedo Chat is an independent random video chat platform. It has no affiliation, partnership or endorsement relationship with Azar, and Azar is a trademark of its respective owner, referenced here only so you can compare.
Worldwide by default
With no preferences set, you are matched with whoever is available anywhere, which in practice means a lot of cross-border conversations.
Choosing a country
Country preference is a Premium feature. It steers matching towards a chosen country, subject to who is actually online there at that moment.
Language, realistically
There is no automatic translation. The in-call text panel helps a lot when accents or vocabulary get in the way, because a typed word is easier to read than to hear.
Time zones matter more than people expect
The pool for any given country peaks in that country's evening. If a region feels empty, the hour is usually the reason rather than the platform.
No coins or gifts
Shedo Chat has no coins, gems, gifts or per-minute charges. Ordinary video chat is free and Premium is a straightforward subscription.
