Signing up adds private messaging with Shedo IDs, audio Rooms, saved settings, and a daily allowance of in-call games. Accounts are free.
What Premium adds
Premium is optional. It adds matching preferences such as country, unlimited plays in the in-call games, and other premium extras. It is billed as a weekly or monthly subscription and can be cancelled at any time.
What you need to run a call
A modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, a working camera and microphone, and a reasonable internet connection. Nothing to install — calls run directly in the browser.
Data use on mobile
Live video uses data continuously. Shedo Chat adapts video quality to your connection, but on a limited mobile plan a Wi-Fi connection is worth using where you can.
No hidden charges
There is no pay-per-minute charge and no requirement to buy anything to keep chatting. Premium pricing is shown in full before you subscribe.
