Shedo Chat uses cookies and similar browser storage (local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your settings and keep the service secure. This page explains what is stored and how you can control it.
Strictly necessary
Your sign-in session is stored in your browser so you stay logged in between visits and so authenticated requests can be verified. A device identifier is stored to enforce blocks, rate limits and abuse protection. Without these the service cannot work.
Preferences
We store your chosen theme, matching filters, interests, selected face filter and similar interface settings locally so they persist between sessions. Draft messages and pending offline actions may also be cached on your device.
Advertising
Free accounts see ads served by Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies to deliver and measure ads. Premium subscribers do not see these ads. You can review and change Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Payments
When you subscribe on the web, our payment processor Stripe may set cookies needed to complete and secure the checkout. We do not store card details ourselves.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and stop matching from working. For everything else we do with your data, see our privacy policy.
